I think this is the most beautiful fly I have ever found. Look at its elegant head with a metallic red color, far from the stigma that this fly is a disgusting animal and is synonymous with garbage or dirt. But not all flies play in dirty places. There are also some flies that play and take advantage of plant and flower nectar. I do not know for sure if this type of fly falls into that category. But I found flies often playing and perched on the jasmine tree in my yard.
Usually this insects are only monotonous in color, but this fly has a metallic color that seems exclusive. Although there aren't many color combinations, just metallic greens and reds with a bit of black on the legs, but all those colors look luxurious and beautiful, and take away all the stigma that flies are disgusting insects.
