Home grown tomatoes are MUCH tastier!! I expected the tasteless tomatoes come from the store during the Winter months. Those are gorgeous tomatoes btw!
Yes, that's exactly what's happening.
In winter, we prefer to eat our canned tomatoes.
Of course, you can buy good tomatoes in the winter in the store, but they are very expensive.

Yes, I grow all kinds of tomatoes and this has been a good year. I have already canned some and made sauces to freeze. Unfortunately, I am falling behind this year because I am ill. I had my husband pick all the leftover green ones from outside, but I still have many inside the greenhouse.
Here are a few of them that I have in a box.
We have already removed everything from the greenhouse. This year it's a very cold September, the plants started to get sick.

Не в обиду вятским томамам, но самые лучшие помидоры созревают в Сибири. Есть такой город - Минусинск (неофициальное название Помидоринск), кто тех помидор не ел, тот и вкуса их настоящего не пробовал))
я даже не сомневаюсь! Наш край всегда назывался - край вечнозеленых помидор. Это только вот в этом веке лето стало такое, что помидоры краснеют обильно в теплице.
