Every day we experience important events that are sometimes overlooked. Many of the experiences we go through every day are actually inspiring, have important meanings, and even thrill the heart.

However, all the important events just pass if we don't tie them up. How to tie it? One way is to write in various forms of writing, both in the form of a short note which will be followed by long writing, or in other forms of writing, such as poetry.

This poem was born when I visited Sakinah hospital, in mid-September 2022. In a hospital that was familiar to me in the past, I experienced a memorable event that remains in my heart, now. There was such a strong atmosphere that I poured it into poetry.

I admit it's not a good poem because it writes quickly while sitting on the toilet. Well, the toilet is indeed one of my favorite places to absorb writing inspiration. Therefore, the bathroom at home must be clean and fragrant, because inspiration often crosses there and I often linger in the bathroom.

Don't think the poem is good or not the first time you write it. Poetry is like a diamond, it must be sharpened to shine. It's still a draft, I'll try to make it sparkle. Not like diamonds, but like eyes, I saw in a hospital bed.

A Trace in the Hospital

From atop the inflamed bed,
there was a smell of pain mixed with hope.

The power has been reduced from the owner of the light of love
Lying on the bed, staring at the ceiling without a cloud painting

But sometimes a question mark is also sent
Whether to be interpreted or just an introductory prayer for healing

she looks beautiful when she's lying down
with a freshly created scent
and the only one
to cover a fragile body
One scent with a thousand question marks.

A corner with soft colored traces
revealed when he sent a kiss
on the back of the hand as calm as a lake

Like the peak of taste on the first night,
passing glance
before it disappears from sight
change with the deepest amazement
hanging like the sky
always visible,
even in the dark without stars and moon
Because all the light has left in his eyes

Jejak di Rumah Sakit

Dari atas ranjang yang meradang,
telah menguar aroma luka bercampur asa.

Daya telah berkurang dari pemilik cahaya cinta
Rebah di atas ranjang, menatap langit-langit tanpa lukisan awan

Tapi sesekali dikirim juga tanda yang penuh tanda tanya
Entah untuk diartikan atau hanya sekadar doa pengantar kesembuhan

dia terlihat indah dalam rebah
dengan aroma yang baru selesai diciptakan
dan hanya satu-satunya
untuk membungkusi tubuh yang sedang rapuh
Satu aroma dengan seribu tanda tanya.

Sebuah sudut dengan jejak berwarna lembut
menguak ketika ia mengirim ciuman
pada punggung tangan setenang telaga

Laksana puncak rasa pada malam pertama,
sekilas melintas
sebelum lenyap dari pandangan
berganti dengan takjub terdalam
bergantung seperti langit
senantiasa terlihat,
walau dalam gelap tanpa bintang dan bulan
Sebab seluruh cahaya sudah tertinggal di matanya
