Forest Macro
Today there will be no familiar macro objects in the form of insects or something else. These will be photos of the forest in macro mode.
Being in the forest, we usually enlarge our attention. We see a tree more often than its separate leaf or needle. We see an anthill rather than an ant on top of it trying to drag a caterpillar inside.
However, there are a lot of individual fragments in the forest that are of interest. You just need to adjust your vision and attention to the search for new worlds.
Next time I'll show you another macroworld. The world of spiders.

Spooky things can be discovered in the microverse.
Writing to you I had the doubt. Why do we say macro when we take photos of the micro world? I found this answer: "In photography, the original formal use was that macro meant larger than 1:1 life size (on the film media), and micro was less than that size. That has been corrupted now, people call anything macro, but yes, that's why Nikon labels their lenses as micro, not macro."
If I understood correctly the term macro refers to the photograph, not the subject being photographed. Right?
I agree, an ordinary cute butterfly with a strong magnification can seem like a creepy monster. And if you remember that butterflies also bite ...)))
At first, I also did not accept the term "macro" to the microcosm. After all, everything small is micro. From here we have a microscope. .
On the other hand, macro is an increase. The lens conventionally magnifies the object to 1:1 or more. Maybe from here it is called a macro lens. And that's why shooting with it is called macro. Then the name of the macro photos is logical))
It turns out that so.
Its marvelous.thanks for sharing the beauty.
