There was a time when humans and dinosaurs lived on our planet.
People did not know that dinosaurs existed, and dinosaurs, living in their lost world, did not know that people existed in the world.
Everything is clear with people, people are like people, and dinosaurs lived a strange, special life, in a world where the strong chased the weak, and the weak tried to escape from the strong.
Dinosaurs were not distinguished by good manners and they constantly mocked and mocked each other.
Their lexicon was not very extensive and for all the bullying and ridicule, such as fool, weakling, dupe, idiot, half-wit, they had only one word - darwin!
So they lived, until, one day, all of a sudden, a disaster happened, the heavens opened up and streams of water fell on the earth, which did not subside for a long time.
But, one day, the clouds disappeared and those small ones who could save from the deadly waves saw that they were on a small island in the middle of the ocean.
There were not many of them, a few noisy pterodactels and a very large and very sad giant diplodocus.
Pterodactyls decided to spread their wings and fly around the island when they saw a diplodocus standing at the water's edge and looking off into the distance.
Hehe, Darwin, look at that Darwin! - one pterodactel turned to another.
This Darwin was left all alone, a real Darwin, my stomach bursts with laughter when I watch the tears flow down the cheeks of this Darwin.
Yes, Darwin, this Darwin seems to be up to something, Darwin.
Ha, ha, ha, he thinks that Darwin can turn into a fish and swim away from the island, or he will grow wings with feathers to lift this carcass into the air, darwin.

At that moment, the diplodocus was looking at the horizon, where a small, black dot appeared on the edge between the sky and the ocean.
This point was rapidly approaching and increasing in size.

I drew with a graphite pencil on a sheet of A5 paper.
At first, I decided on the arrangement of characters on the sheet.
I had to figure out what pterodactels and the surrounding landscape would look like.
Gradually, everything began to take shape and volume.

The first thing, and most important, is the composition. It has to be interesting for the observer. you have done exactly that.

Thank you very much, the most difficult thing for me was to depict small waves, I still do not understand how to depict a light tide.
Do not ask me. For me, waves are more annoying than portraits, when it comes to graphite drawing.
Or, pen drawing. Even worse.
They are much easier for me with oil paints.

Thank you for your support and invitation to the contest, but for now, I'm not sure that I can overcome my dislike for paper applications :)
It's hard to get in competition with this work of yours, this is the type of presentation I would like to learn, it looks like a picture.
The large Pterodactyl covers the left Conner of the frame and other items take up other areas as it we were looking at it in a picture frame. It's so beautiful that my hands are feeling reluctant to draw, but if I can come up with something equally creative, then only will I have the confident to participate.
