CONTEST: Steemit Friend at my school/campus by @christnenye

Wonderful day to you all, trust you'll are doing great. However, welcome back to my blog. I am here to make an entry of my participation in such an interesting contest organized by @promosi-steemit.

My steemit journey has been a great adventure and it wouldn't have been without my friends and coursemates @eberechi10, @anyi-global, @starrchris, @jerry-ivan, @bright6149. We were all students of Computer science and informatics at Federal University Otuoke Bayelsa state, Nigeria.

Prior to my introduction to the platform by @eberechi10 who was the first person to know about the platform in 2020 during covid-19 period then school wasn't in session. So when we resumed in 2021 we got to know about the platform as a place to learn, write and same time get rewarded. The statement was our pushing force and we were all active in the platform. Later on eberechi10 opened a watsapp group for all steemit users to drop their links for comments, upvotes and most importantly for correction and directions on how to know the platform better.

We continued from were eberechi10 stopped by introducing other students to the platform, and also started organizing meet up on how to recruit other school mates of ours to the platform.

We all kept writing and promoting steemit till 2022 when that was a bearish market and all my friends powered down. I became afraid and contacted one of us @starrchris relating to him my fears, he encouraged me not to power down that things will surely change. Also, I saw a post written by fredquatum on why we shouldn't leave the platform that those powering down did that because of reasons best known to them not that the platform is having issue.

After the massive power down I had to keep close contact on the remaining person starrchris who really love to give back to the platform, he organizes meet up and even printed a banner to promote steemit, currently he has hit the dolphin 🐬 status and that is his greatest motivation.

Starrchris is my motivation too because I really know how we started and were he is today which is as a result of consistent hardwork.

Over all, It has been an interesting journey so far and my most greatest motivation was when my forth post on the platform was curated by steemcurator02. The consistent support with booming, resteeming of my post by other steemit users, support from both individual and community account and finally steemcurator01 support whenever my post is choosen by the curators.

Conclusively, I might yet to be where I want to be but little by little I will get there. Mere seeing and interacting with starrchris in school and chatting with him on watsapp with reading his posts pushes me to be original, creative and hardworking.

In general, interacting with steemit friends in school or offices helps us to share our good and sad moments with one another. Find tips on how to grow our accounts and generally on to promote steemit platform.
