God's Constitution And How To Apply It

Every nation has her own constitution that states all the laws used in governing the nation as well as the rights of the citizens of the nation. It is from the constitution that citizens can base to defend themselves any time someone wants to infringe on their rights. Again the constitution serves as a mechanism that an individual can use to defend himself in the court of law.

With such powerful instrument it becomes difficult to temper on the rights of cititizen of a nation. God's constitution is the Bible.

There are many powerful books writtten by man but the bible surpasses them all. It is not just an ordinary written book but one that is divinely inspired and contained the infallible words of God.

The bible is the contitutions of the kingdom of God. The bible contains all the word of God and in it are His commandments, statutes, blessing and promises. It is states everything we need to know about all our legal rights and authority over the enemy and over every situation.

Withtout God's word we have no grounds to defend our rights and privileges given us in Christ Jesus when the enemy attacks. Just like policeman wouldn't mess with a citicmzen who knows his right the same things applies to a Christian who knows the scriptures.

Satan will back off when he sees that you know your rights as a child of God. He will not make attempt on your life ones you have proven that you know the kind of authority and power the Lord has given you as enshrined in His holy word.

When the devil attacked the Lord after he has fasted for forty days and forty nights henights used deceptively approach to tempt him to sin, knowing that he was hungry he said:

And when the tempter came to him, he said, If you are the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. Mathew 4:3

But the Lord quoted the Scriptures to defend his case, he said:

It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. Mattew 4:4

The devil will not give up, he also looked for a scripture in God's word to back his case to make further attack, he said:

Then the devil took him up into the holy city, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, And said unto him, If you are the Son of God, cast yourself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning you: and in their hands they shall bear you up, lest at any time you dash your foot against a stone. Mathew 4:5-6

Friends if the devil knows the word of God and everything written in it then we can't be ingorant of the word of God. The devil actually quoted from Psalm 91:11-12, he was serious to win the case at all cost.

He still continued and battled with the Lord by taking the case to another level, he said:

The Lord again quoted form God's contitution that is not permissible or lawful that we put the Lord to unreasonable test:

Jesus said unto him, It is written again, You shall not test the Lord your God.

The devil will still not cease fire but took the case to another level:

Again, the devil took him up into an exceedingly high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And said unto him, All these things will I give you, if you will fall down and worship me. Mathew 4:8-9

Everything was getting serious now and the Lord has to use his jurisdictional power to drive the enemy away before to proceeds to another level, With authority he commanded the devil:

Then said Jesus unto him, Begone, Satan: for it is written, You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve. Mathew 4:10

An important thing we should all learn from the case between the Lord and devil was the Lord's ability to quote from the God's constitition throughout the case. The Lord won the case because he backed it with word of God.

This should be our attitude, we shoould the Scriptures and apply it to win over that sickness, the marital issues, that business issues, financial problems and any attack. we need quote what God's word says to withstand any enemy anytime we attacks just like Jesus did.

How can you call yourself a royal of a holy nation or the kingdom of God when you barely know your rights as enshrined in the holy book?

The devil has inflicted many Christians with sickness, poverty, misery ,sorrow and many problems because they are ignorant of God's word says concerning those situation.

Always find a scripture about ant situation you are going through and use it to speak to that situation and things will turn around, that devil will surelt flee.
