Today's dream: Government intelligence agencies conspiracy

Highest definition and most TV like plot I remember on a dream. It was all very consistent and easy to understand. The fact that I can't narrate most of it stems from the fact that it was a dream... I forget dreams pretty quickly. Even the things I planned to write will lose details while I get to them, so I have no expectations of completeness, but I will do my best to get as close to it as possible.

There were political conflicts in this world. There was a man that had helped a lot to build a big thing, like a corporation or even a country, and then he was villainised by the next generation of leaders.

In a hallway

I particularly remember that after I understood all of this (there were many events explaining it all, but I can remember none right now), there was an illustration scene where I appeared in a hotel hallway and I saw that there were many target-practice cardboard people standing it a small section of it. There were only some at first and then more and more started appearing. They were all standing as if looking at me. I knew they were for shot practice, but there were so many and they were so dense that I could not imagine them actually being useful at the purpose of accuracy practice. I looked to my right, behind me, and I saw a big man, whom I now remember as an animal-headed man for some reason (something like elephant or rhinoceros, hairless, herbivore and big). He had a gun in his hand and he started to shoot at the pieces of cardboard. There were normal adult shaped pieces of cardboard, but there were also many children, midgets (I particularly remember a midget woman who had horse ears and a boy standing at the front as if they were looking at me) and aliens.

It was all consequential, I didn't think anything. I was just surprised there were so many targets to shoot at. Afterwards came another man of higher rank and started to scold the man who was shooting. He said something about efficiency and loyalty and the man being scolded reassured his superior that he could handle it all. I think there was also a report of the situation (probably the kidnapping or something about the TV station or who knows what was the issue at that point, but it was all related). More cardboard people came out, and this time I was again surprised at how densely packed they were for target practice. They looked more like a village crowd instead. I had also forgotten, but now I remember that there was a big picture of the first man I talked about. It was hanging on the wall to the left. He had white hair. He was someone respected whom they were against, and this shooter had hung a framed picture of him for target practice against the left wall.

Then, special ops started their meeting. They were talking about their current crisis. They were all standing in the same hallway where the practice targets were. There was an old woman who reminds me of a James Bond MI6 boss and her underlings, all high-ranking. They were worried about something that had happened.

In a room, at a table

Then, I was transported to another room where a man had been kidnapped (let's call him Joe). I think he was one of the "good guys" who was being hunted down by this revolution. He was sitting at a table and his small son was sitting opposite to him. An armed man (let's call him Horace) came in and mocked the sitting man. There was a lot of talk here that I don't remember. Joe asked Horace about something, and then said something to trick him into touching his arm. I don't know if it was a provocation, like "and now I'm going to hit you" with a movement of the arm, provoking Horace to grab the arm in defence, or whether he had simply stated something about his arm leading Horace to believe that there was something interesting or suspicious about it. Anyway, when Horace grabbed Joe's arm, Joe at once grabbed Horace's hand, which was about to touch him (the brain waits for a few milliseconds for something to happen. If you're waiting for me to count to four, I count to three, breathe in and start four but don't finish it and instead do something, I catch you by surprise; in this case, Horace was waiting for his hand to reach Joe's elbow, but what came was a sudden movement that grabbed his arm and pulled him down to the ground). Horace was now on the ground, being punched to unconsciousness.

Bah, I forgot the rest of the dream. I can't remember anything after this scene. It was all dreamt in 3rd person. I don't remember doing anything in this dream. I wrote it down as soon as I woke up on my phone using Writer+, a simple and beautiful app for Android, and sent it to myself on Telegram, downloaded it to my computer and copied the text into a post (and proofread it a little bit).
