The End of One is The Start of Another

We came back homes on the 1st of January as I told you. So that is the end of a chapter of our university lives. And then is the next and a special one: Industrial training. We all knew that it would be a new experience and a challenge for all of us. We had already applied and got confirmed our industrial placements. University gave huge support to us in that.

We could select the industrial place for ourselves. Some had interviews and some didn’t. There were many places even more than we needed on the list. The main areas of my degree are food and pharmaceutical field, environmental, petroleum and polymer. There were a lot of companies in the general section too. I am not interested in polymer and petroleum fields, so I looked at food, environmental and general sections. There were a lot of good places. Some are with a huge reputation and standards. Many friends tried for them. Actually, there was a competition for some places at the start.

But as always, I choose not to compete for the reputation. Some places are so strict. I decided to join a place where I can learn without huge pressure on us. I wanted to learn in my own way. And that should be a place related to our studies and there should be things to learn. I had a bond with the food section since I was little. I loved to see videos of how food is made in lines using machines. Considering all those things and talking with the seniors who were there the last year, I choose Ceylon Agro Industries which is a member of the Prima group. I thought a lot before choosing this. So, I think this will be a good decision as the early ones made by me. So, let’s see.
