My salvage computer

Today I'm gonna talk a little bit about my hardware. I have an ACER small tower desktop which I got it from insurance salvage. Trust me, it's not even really salvage auction because nobody bid on that thing, in the end the insurance company decided to write it off and get rid of it. The profile of the unit were damage caused by lightning striked. The repair cost is beyond economical consideration in view of getting a new set would have cost similar to the repair.

Since it was a write off junk, I took the computer back home, together with bunch of other dusty old computer and is lack of use. As I opened the casing, I found there is absolutely nothing took out from that casing, based on the finger print.

So the first thing I changed was the fuel pump. IT's been sitting there too long and gunks started to build around it. I need to rev up my engine like Scotty Kilmer does!

First thing I do is change the powerpacks out and allowing way for the new packs since it went through lightning. Followed by changing the mainboard and fianlly I get some positive result from Leonardo DiCaprio.

Oh! It was a joke and a cold one. ?Not funny at all. But it proven to myself, all I need is park the car and I can walk around and tat this kind of agent.

Over the past 10 years I owned this computer, I have no problem. But today, takumi?! I decided to record down some of the event happened to this computer. I managed to salgave it by changing a power packs, replace the mainboard and it's working correctly already.

Now, most important moment. The hard drive is recently acting up. Time to time it will shut down by itself.I already budgeted for a new SSD drive. But one problem, the comptuer were produced at the Pentium 4 HT technology, and now it has a Windows 10 preinstalled, had I changed my harddrive, then I will have trouble reinstall back a legit version of MS.Windows.
