With the clouds reaching down to touch the earth... Enchanting — at St. Kitts, British Virgin Islands.
This post is for #MountainMonday by @KeithBoone where being late is only a figment of your imagination. I will blend it seamlessly with #MonochromeMonday and #TreeTuesday by @Old-Guy-Photos. Just you wait and see, or can we just play "Let's pretend" for this week? Of course, this shot is all about those glorious mountains that adorn St. Kitts... No matter which way I approach this island, they are there to greet me. (Waves back!)
Another day in Old San Juan, Pureto Rico
Off in the distance, the mountains call out my name. The cobblestone path leads you to a variety of interesting sights on the waterfront. The walls that once protected the city only adds to the romantic walk along the San Juan Bay. A museum of landmarks surrounds the city. Oh, beauty! — in Old San Juan.
Of course, this is dedicated to #MonochromeMonday just so @Old-Guy-Photos know that even in Camelot, it does snow. Once in a while. Not today, but, it did snow once this season. So there you have it. Perfection is corrupted.
A flower. There should always be a flower to color my world. This flower is dedicated to #MondayRed #ColorChallenge by @Kalemandra. Oh, the tears shed over the world should flood this earth, for sure. For sure.
Later that night
I held an atlas in my lap
Ran my fingers across the whole world
And whispered,
"Where does it hurt?"
It answered,
"Everywhere"

Hehe! Me too! Thank goodness it was only for a short minute or three! I have been having a lot of fun lately and I wish it never had to end.
I am totally a sucker for mountain views. The ones that have the eternal cloud on them are divine! I have never seen them without it.

Wow, look at that beautiful mountain, decorated by clouds... lovely! You sort of freaked me out when you got to the monochrome snowstorm and said it did snow once... for just a second I thought you were saying it snowed in St. Kitts! Yikes! Every time I come upon that mountain and the island of St. Kitts, it always looks the same. Those clouds never seem to really move, but, perhaps shift a bit. It is a very lovely look to me and I never tire of it. I'm not sure I ever will.

St. Kitts is really beautiful and has a lot of nature, hiking, fishing villages, volcanos and of course, beaches... and so much more.

The cruise was amazing and you know how wonderful Royal does it, but, it was two weeks cruise and then flew off to Bonaire for a scuba diving trip.

St. Kitts is a wonderful place and has a fascinating history, as most of the islands do. The cruise was another nice one, I am not sure how one could not enjoy being pampered the way they do.

Always a pleasure my friend. I can't imagine anyone not enjoying all the benefits of cruising but I do know it is not for everyone which I think has more to do with their fear of the sea or sea sickness.
I've grown up around boats and the sea so its very familiar to me.
I agree. It is usually the fear of water that does them in.
I also grew up living right on the Atlantic Ocean and my dad and brothers always had boats. One of them slept 8, so we spent lots of time out on the waves.
It is a great place to relax and hide away from the world if you wish. ;)
Living in New Zealand, we were never far away from the water and my parents owned launches which was wonderful for summer holidays and John built a pleasure boat with a friend when our sons were young and we spent many hours fishing and ski-ing.

Actually, it snowed just as I was leaving for the vacation, so I was okay with that. It did melt overnight though. We never get snow for too long. Hope all is well in your world and you are doing well!
