The Importance of Connection in a Relationship - Part 1

Relationship is the bedrock of marriage. When relationship is not well built on a strong foundation and it ends in marriage, it may not do well as expected. Relationship and marriage today are void of mutual commitment that can make them work. Even in marriages, you'll see either the wife or the husband making the marriage to work but that other person is just helping.

I just saw what someone wrote on his or her car... "Just divorced, I do, I did, I'm done, boy bye, free at last, divorce, an end of an error! This is what you see when we don't understand what marriage is or when you don't allow God in your relationship or marriage

Let me start this way... No connection with God, no connection in your relationship or marriage. God is the one that makes oil available for your relationship or marriage. What many relationships and marriages lack today is oil or wine in their relationships or marriages and it is known that when oil finishes, be sensitive enough to perceive the help of God at the corner if only you identify Him and then draw Him into the matter.

Then you'll see the change needed but the truth is, Jesus was in that wedding at Cana before the wine finished even as they keep getting more wine from the drums. They could tell that this wine was going down and they will soon in need of wine and Jesus was around to help them but they waited till the wine was exhausted. He was even around but they couldn't discern Him among them.

You see, you shouldn't wait till the oil or the wine(connection) in your relationship or marriage is dry before you call on God, he's always around the corner. Truth is, there is no need why the oil made available in your relationship or marriage should go down to start with. A connection first with God will keep the oil(connection with your partner) filled in your relationship or marriage. Connection with your partner is made easy when you both have a connection with God. God's connection makes available also the connection needed to keep a relationship or marriage to work!
