I am a Predator, the same one who has traveled to Earth to collect the corpses of my companions who were killed in combat because they believed too much in themselves, underestimating the humans they faced. I come to this new planetary system because an intelligent signal came from here. My superiors sent me on this flying ship and my mission is to investigate the origin of these signals. My race is interested in hunting intelligent beings that offer resistance. It is an initiation ritual that we must fulfill.

There is the planet. There on the surface a phosphorescent halo is observed. I'll have to approach carefully.

Aha. There is what you were looking for. That is the work of intelligent beings. It can not be another thing. Here I see some rings. Who knows what they are for. There is also a sphere-shaped frame there and others that look like mountains. By its appearance that liquid is not water. I imagine the rest is submerged.

Now I think they have detected my presence because the light around the sphere has grown larger and brighter. I don't know what happens. Now my ship stopped in space. The controls do not respond. I can't breathe. I am losing consciousness.

I fainted. I wake up again but I'm tied on a table. There are several strangely shaped beings examining me. And one of them says to me mentally: “We are going to set you free, but tell your people that you are a much inferior race to ours, and it is better that you never come near here again. If you do it again all of you will be annihilated.”

Buscando otro planeta para cazar

Soy un Depredador, el mismo que ha viajado a la tierra a recoger los cadáveres de mis compañeros que quedaron muertos en combate porque creyeron demasiado en sí mismos, subestimando a los humanos que enfrentaron. Vengo a este nuevo sistema planetario porque una señal inteligente provino desde aquí. Mis superiores me enviaron en esta nave voladora y mi misión es investigar el origen de esas señales. A mi raza le interesa la cacería de seres inteligentes que ofrezcan resistencia. Es un ritual de iniciación que debemos cumplir.

Allí está el planeta. Allá en la superficie se observa un halo fosforescente. Tendré que acercarme con cuidado.

Ajá. Allí está lo que andaba buscando. Eso es obra de seres inteligentes. No puede ser otra cosa. Aquí veo unos anillos. Quién sabe para qué sirven. También hay allí una armazón en forma de esfera y otras que parecen montañas. Por su aspecto ese líquido no es agua. Me imagino que lo demás está sumergido.

Ahora creo que han detectado mi presencia porque la luz en torno a la esfera se ha hecho más grande y brilla más. No sé qué sucede. Ahora mi nave se detuvo en el espacio. Los controles no responden. No puedo respirar. Estoy perdiendo el conocimiento.

Me desmayé. Despierto otra vez pero veo que estoy atado sobre una mesa. Hay varios seres de formas extrañas que me examinan. Y uno de ellos me dice mentalmente: “Te vamos a dejar libre, pero dile a los tuyos que ustedes son una raza muy inferior a la nuestra, y es mejor que más nunca se acerquen por aquí. Si lo vuelven a hacer serán aniquilados”.
