It's the second time in a row you put Uncle Effie in your haiku! I'm a bit worried!
This one is a nice exemple of wabi sabi and of poetic point of view about everyday life!
Quante ne sai! I'll tell to uncle that you appreciated him in a wabi sabi perspective.. I'm sure he still remembering you well! Yes I got stuck into that album and I'm short of inspiring pics what can I do? 😅
Oh, I like this. : ) They say a picture paints a thousand words (yours does just that) and your few words paints a thousand stories. Remember...Uncle knows best. : )
Recently I'm trying the haiku poetry, where you have to limit your thoughts in 17 syllables (5-7-5). It's not easy at all to say less! Uncle always knows best.. that's why I'm just taking photos and letting him hang the clothes!
There's beauty everywhere, even in the mundane. Sometimes, those are the moments that stick in our memories the longest.
I meant to say this earlier, love the (very fitting for you) Kobayashi line that you put at the end of your haikus. :)
Your comment is spot on, Bris. Thanks for noticing, you're always so careful, that's one of my favorite haiku.. and Kobayashi Issa is one of my favorite poets with Basho. I wish one day to be able to say so much in such little space like he does with his frantic butterfly.
