't was a night of dark and shadow,
chilling winds were cutting bone.
Over old man Goullet's meadow
a hooded figure moved alone.

A clank of steel, a sigh that kills,
this predator has fixed his sight,
he's come above the iron hills,
to take away the only light.

Old man Goullet's halls are quiet,
having lost a second wife
to the unforgiving mountains
on this side of afterlife.

By the fire, in his cabin,
in his lap he holds his star,
little daughter named Ilana,
his final light that shines so far.

But when the reaper comes a-knocking,
shivers, terror, dark and cold,
only few remain to tell us
about the story that's to unfold.

Is it wonder, is it true?
A holy spirit looking down
He hath no pity towards this figure
creeping towards the Goullet town.

A distant star was made and melted,
into sword of love and light
a breath of fire poured within
this hallowed weapon of great might.

No time to run, but only fight,
this sword was sent from Heavens' gates
to old man Goullet's halls on this side
of the misty mountain lakes.

The breaking door and breath of coldness
would chill a man of lesser faith,
but Goullet drives the blade called Marvin
throught the cloaked and shadowed wraith.

With screams as cold as winter winds,
the wraith is gone, is done the slaughter.
The hills have now a mountain king -
one old man Goullet with his daughter.

As peace and calm is taking over,
the holy spirit smiles and turns,
more to do, but we can see him,
in the flame when candles burn.
