My Weekly Country Representative/Greeter's Report

It's my delight to report my last week activities as a country representative of Nigeria, As always it was a fruitful week Filled with Fun activities. I organized contest to keep users active during week, I guided, reviewed and verified some newcomers achievement tasks and I also publish a post to educate new ones on how to behave in the platform.

MY ACTIVITIES AS A MOD IN THE NEWCOMERS COMMUNITY:

I published a post in the community to educate new ones on the acceptable behaviours in the platform, I've helped them to understand that this prestigious platform have rules and regulations that governed the conduct of every user, and we must try to stick to them. I also reviewed and verified some achievement tasks, and I encountered few plagiarized posts especially on achievement tasks 3 that talk about etiquette contents on steem, it got me wondering if they don't really understand the task, anyways I've caution the offenders and asked them to edit the post and write in their own words.
I made a video call with some to be sure they're real users. Below Is the list of achievement I've verified or placed on pending:

ACTIVITIES IN MY PERSONAL ACCOUNT:

I couldn't be very active during the week because I was down with Malaria and typhoid, but I'm recovering and I hope to get back myself soon! But even at that I tried to be active, I've made some few posts and actively comments on my contest posts, I've powered up too, below is the summary of my account:

ACTIVITIES AS STEEM4NIGERIA MOD:

I organized a contest in the community within the week to keep users active and it managed to attract 16 users who shared with us their new year's resolution. Have announce the contest winners and shared their prizes. I've reviewed posts and choose some for booming support, I also uploaded some Steemit charity projects on Steem4nigeria Facebook page it's a way of promoting steem.

Apart from this I've guided and encouraged new ones on how to power up, to be active and to join Engagement Challenge Contests etc.

MY PLANS FOR THE UPCOMING WEEK:

• I will initiate an interesting contest
• make a post about self plagiarism
• continue working as Mod and a greeter
• joining more engagement challenge contest
• promoting steem on other social media
• continuing in helping and guiding newbies.etc
