TEKKEN 7 - Desperate Struggle

TEKKEN 7's final battle. Father and son, human and demon. The cursed bloodline.....

Okay, that's too much LOL! Enough making fun of this video game franchise! XD

Anyways, this one here is a fanart for TEKKEN 7. This one here is the final battle between Heihachi Mishima and Kazuya Mishima in his Devil Form (which is the Final Boss for the "Mishima Saga" story mode).

To be honest, I don't really like how the colors came out here. Too rough for my liking. But then I'm quite an impatient guy myself, so this ends up being one of those art which I express myself LOL.

Anyways, this time I'll do a little explanation on the art stages (Just a little ;D).

This one here is the sketch/penciling.

Next is the inking. Notice that I did some adjustments on the character poses and perspectives.

I..... actually liked how the inking turns out ;P. It just got the expression that there is a chaotic battle going on with my crazy inking XP.

Next is the base colors.

Nothing much here. A pretty simple color palette. I am however surprised with Devil Kazuya's colors, but then it's better to have one simple color layout for his somewhat over complicated Devil Form (come to think of it, his Devil Form wasn't that hard, just getting used to its design...)

Next is the details.

Now Devil Kazuya looks kinda sorta cool and creepy (I'm more inclined to the cool part but that's just me ;P)

Next is.... the background!

Basically I just speed paint a volcano. I made it simple so that the whole artwork will not be congested will all the details and whatnot. I mean the inking is already quite cluttered...

Next is to mix them up with some special effects.

Yeah, lightning effects, coz they are the Mishimas, and lightning are kinda their trademarks. Heihachi is blue while Kazuya is red.

Finally some adjustments and compositions.

Yeesh, the carnage.....

Trivia! The title of the art is the same title as the soundtrack in which the music is played in the final battle between Heihachi and Kazuya.

Anyways, been trying to do this since I previously did a fanart for this fighting game. Something like this.

Basically almost the same steps.

Story wise..... That post has it all, so I wont bother repeat it again. If you do wanna know TEKKEN 7's lore, I guess you should just play the "Mishima Saga" story mode of TEKKEN 7 or just watch the cutscenes online (like Youtube).

Anyways, enjoy the desperate struggle.
