Did you know that Holy Language Institute is run by volunteers? This month we're celebrating Amy!

"How long have you been with HLI?"
Following since 2014, volunteering since August 2015

"Tell us about your volunteer work."
As news curator, I post daily (except Shabbat) published articles (news and writings from other sources related to Messianic teaching, Hebrew learning, Israel, Scriptures etc.) to HLI social sites (FB, IG, Pinterest, Twitter, Tumblr, LinkedIn), and consolidate all posted items from the previous week to send out as a weekly news emails to all who have subscribed to the news email on FB page.

"Why did you volunteer? Was it what you expected?"
To answer HaShem's calling when I was placed in this setting to advance His kingdom. Yes and no; I try not to have any expectations of my own.

"What have you learned and how have you grown from the experience?"
Perseverance and obedience and trust in Adonai.

"We call our volunteers "stewards". What does it mean to you to be a steward?"
To serve as Yeshua did.

"Would you recommend volunteering? Why?"
Yes. It is only when one starts to serve others one can see oneself more clearly.
