इस ग्रह का नाम 'प्रोक्सिमा बी' है. यह हमारी पृथ्‍वी से महज 4.2 प्रकाश वर्ष की दूरी पर स्थित है. यह मोटे तौर पर पृथ्वी के समान आकार का है और इसका तापमान लगभग -90 C से 30 C के बीच है.

The name of this planet is 'Proxima B'. It is located just 4.2 light years away from our Earth. It is roughly the same size as the Earth and its temperature ranges from -90 C to 30 C

इस पर एक विशाल सागर भी हो सकता है. इस महीने एस्‍ट्रोबायोलॉजी नामक जर्नल में प्रकाशित शोध के मुताबिक वैज्ञानिकों ने पहली बार प्रोक्सिमा बी के वातावरण के साथ ही समुद्र का भी सिमुलेशन (कंप्‍यूटर पर परीक्षण) किया.

There can also be a vast ocean on it. According to a research published in a journal Astroobiology this month, scientists have first simulated simultaneously with the atmosphere of Proxima B.

माना जा रहा है ये ऐसा ग्रह है जो सितारों से भरा हुआ है. जिस वजह से यहां 24 घंटे दिन रहे और 24 घंटे रात. वहीं जिन क्षेत्रों में अंधेरा होगा वहां बर्फ पानी के रूप में जमा हो सकता है.
