No way back ✍️

As any other youngest of the family, I’m also so much pampered by my parents and sibling. And to make thing worse, my friends are no different than them in spoiling me. So I think it’s not wrong to tell that my maturity is a slow process. Sometimes when I face some issues for the first time, I also get surprised at realizing I never had problems like this worry in my entire 23 years. And I believe it’s not only me who get that feeling. We learn new things since we get to experience many things as we grow old. This is something that I wrote based on that.

I wrote this when I was travelling in a bus and you know what happens when we get the window seat and got some time to travel. Yeah you are right, we overthink. I started to overthink on how new things popped up that I have to worry about. instead of proceeding with the thoughts chain, I hold that one thought in my mind, grabbed my phone quickly and started typing. This is how it turned out.

Gazing at a far away building
When the thoughts run
Far ahead than that.
Fingers fidgeting around the ring
Just as the uneasy mind
With overpowering thoughts.
Amidst that,
When you remembered the past;
Undone homeworks, upcoming exams
Pretending to be sick to cut classes
Were the only worries you had.
Realizing in between then and now
You have become an adult,
And adulating is hard,
With a no way back.
