My Children are Learning About God... and Satan's Rebellion
My Oldest Daughter Drew a Picture of the Devil Satan
She told me that she put an X on him because he's bad. I see that he's talking, so I asked her what is he saying. She says that he want people to worship him instead of God. She says we don't do that, we only worship God.
Satan looks like a very bad man. Good thing he has an "x" over him.
We know about this guy.
Our children are asking us a lot of questions about 'testing', since they read about how Yeshua was tested in the wilderness by Satan.
Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. Matthew 4:1
I tell my girls that I pray that we are NOT led into temptation, that little girls haven't built up their faith enough for testing yet. Yeshua was not tested until after He was 30 years old.
Sin is our enemy, more than Satan
Between the Most High and the devil Satan, there is no contest. We know who wins in the end. Our enemy is our own selfish desires and lusts of the flesh. These are our enemies and through the power of Yeshua's completed work, we are set free from the law of sin and death.
When they hear, Satan immediately comes and takes away the word that is sown in them.
May the Word never be snatched from our hearts and minds. May the word always be in our hearts and in our mouths, that when we are tempted we can overcome the desires of sin.
Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil. 1 John 3:8
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. Ephesians 6:11
Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you. Luke 10:19
And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. Revelation 20:10
We desire to serve the Most High in this home and there is no place for this "bad" man here. Bless the Most High and worship Him only.

Out of the mouths of babes. What an incredible understanding she has @ironshield! As Joshua 1 says may we never turn from His Word, not to the right or to the left, and may His Word never be snatched from our minds, hearts and lips
