Saturdays in the holidays - Actifit: December 14 2019
I love Saturday SO much. Saturday is my day to catch up on all my life stuff that went by the wayside during my crazy work week. I do errands and go places with my dog and just really unwind. They can be super busy, too, especially if you throw any sort of social events into the mix!
Saturdays during the holidays are extra fun. Often they involve Christmas shopping and other holiday related events, in addition to the usual errands and house cleaning. Here’s a whirlwind tour of how this one went!
I spent the morning wrapping and packaging all of the gifts that I need to get into the mail so they can reach their intended recipients by Christmas. There are about 30 people, so it is no small task! Here’s the work in progress:
Then I hauled them all to the post office to get them sent.
After that my daughter and I took Zoey to the dog park. It was gorgeous and sunny, but it was only about 10 degrees Fahrenheit!
Then my husband and I went to a Christmas nativity pageant put on by some of my relatives at their church. It was adorable!
And then several of us went out to dinner. And finally back at home my husband and my daughter and I played Settlers of Catan!

Haha! A full day, I see! I also have a lot of outgoing packages and they just made their way off yesterday too!
It is a huge undertaking and expensive! But, they are young and it's Christmas. And it is fun to put those packages together! I love the Christmas pageants that the churches have. Mine is next weekend. I love this time of year, even if it is busy!
