School of Developers in Steem Blockchain - It is viable?
Some time ago I wrote for a challenge what I considered a proposal with not many possibilities of being carried out, because, I told myself, in general, people do not like this programming very much, they do not understand it, or it is simply not of interest to them. But today thinking about this proposal, about the need for more developers in Steem Blockchain, I said to myself, I lose nothing by making a proposal that is clearer in terms of purpose.
In the same way that few end up graduating from an art school, I think the same thing happens with training in this area, since it is logical to think that not everyone, the world, likes it, but that the few who could be interested a lot could add to the development of Steem Blockchain.
I remember that months ago my friend @alejos7ven had a project in which he intended to teach users the art of programming, starting from the most basic, however, due to lack of interested parties, I cannot continue it. Even as a representative of Colombia-Original at some point I spoke with him to see the possibility of doing something in this regard, but finally we gave up on the idea, since it is difficult to achieve some things without support.
And when I say support I mean the fact of promoting the project enough so that users can see the potential that learning to program and develop can have in their professional lives as well as in the development of this platform. Additionally, to be able to support with votes the posts of the participants and the teachers who would be dedicating their time, to learn and to teach, respectively.
The basic idea was to create something similar to the dynamics of the SteemitCryptoAcademy, which is already known by most users on the platform, where a "Teacher or Tutor" will create a publication explaining a particular topic, perhaps leaving some links to videos or tutorials where it can be deepened, and additionally leave a task so that those interested could create a post where they were showing what they learned and from that way to move forward.
I know that it would not be easy, because they are not about isolated topics but that the people who start with the training must be constant, not miss classes because knowledge is summative and missing something could be that it makes it difficult for you to understand things later.
I also know that it would not be a couple of weeks, but a job of up to a year (I guess) of basic training. But it would be in a certain way creating those that in the future would collaborate in a very important way in the development of this Blockchain.
This is a proposal that arises from the need to have more development in Steem Blockchain, something that I have particularly said repeatedly, since I know that a lot can be done, but it is not particularly my area of academic training, so in theory it is that more development could be that this project that unites us all goes to another level, but in practice I know practically nothing about what programming is concerned.
This is just an idea that could be used (if carried out) to generate another form of interaction on the platform based on developer training.
Like I said... it's just an idea, a proposal. I'd like to know what you think about it.
