Thes dialect can be either very heavy ur very delicate, dependin' oan whit is appropriate fur th' person. Th' trick fur thes dialect is tae imagine 'att ye hav a rag in yer mouth! Th' mouth is held mair openly than in, say, upper-class Sassenach. Ye can think ay th' soond as bein' generated either above th' back ay th' tongue ur in th' space immediately above th' back-most part ay th' tongue. Thaur, 'att shoods explain it nicely!
