- WEB WALLET:
Web wallet can be explained to be an online wallet that carries out their operation on web-based platform and can be accessed with the use of a web browser.
Web wallet are very easy to use as they can be assessible from different devices, provided it has a valid internet connection.
These wallet usually require it's users to trust the wallet provider with the safety of their private keys.
A web wallet is quite different from a desktop wallet in that, you have to download a desktop wallet before you can access it.
For a web wallet, you can access it online by filling some important details that contains your name and your pass code.
Web wallet are usually kept secured using a passcode and a 2FA.
- HARDWARE WALLET:
Hardware wallet are explained to be physical devices specially designed to store the private keys of cryptocurrency offline.
This wallet help to provide an extra layer of security as it's private keys are stored offline and not online, hereby making it unsuspectible to hack from online hackers.
Hardware wallet is usually known as the most secured way to keep an cryptocurrency safe
- DESKTOP WALLET:
A desktop wallet can be explained to be a cryptocurrency wallet that is usually installed on a laptop or a personal computer.
A desktop wallet helps users to safely manage, store and interact with their digital currencies such as STEEM, TRON, ETHEREUM etc.
For a desktop wallet to be used, it needs to be downloaded and installed on an operating system such as IOS, Linux, windows etc
A desktop wallet offers different measures to ensure that the private key and funds of it's users are safe.
Before you can access your funds on the desktop wallet, you will be required to login using a password/phrase and some wallet may require 2FA before you can access your funds.
