The Diary Game [5th November, 2022]: Washing Clothes, Exercising, Watching Movies

Hello Steemit Family

Greetings all! Day break. It is always a delight to be with you. I am highly elated to have such opportunity to share with you. I hope you are fine. We are in the weekends and activities are on in preparing for the next week. Yesterday, the news broke out that the teacher unions are going on strike over unfavorable conditions at work, but who knows whether next week we shall have our normal schooling. Let us wait and see. I must prepare any way.

Washing Clothes

Morning came and as I do it everyday on Saturday. I sleep for a long time because of the tiredness in the previous week. I didn't wake up early. The sound of the neighbours door woke me up. It has been happening most times since he wakes up early always. Immediately I woke up, I brushed my teeth and had some regular exercise to train my body and my mind.

After that, I picked my dirty clothes and put them outside and made ready for washing. I don't wear my clothes that long so they don't get that too dirty. When I started with the washing, the sun suddenly started to come out. The rains for this season is almost over. It has been a while since we had rainfall. The water from our pipes also does not flow frequently due to the rains that stopped early last month. With the little water I had, I used it to wash. It took about thirty minutes to finish washing. Most of my shirt were light clothes so it was easy washing.

After washing and drying them on the dry line, I got inside and picked my sponge to the washroom and began to bath. After bathing, I enjoyed some breakfast which was Milo with bread. It wasn't that a heavy meal.

Watching Movie

I then sat to watch some Nigerian movie on my TV which was titled "The last Prince". The movie was about a prince who got missing and a princess was asked to look for him. The movie had a sad and happy ending which we say a trage-comedy. In fact the movie talks about patience.

After watching the movie, I changed the station and started to watch other movies. I am alone in the house now. In the evening, I will be writing my lesson note and watch football on TV. It has been sunny and warm here with no signs of rain.
