Glass Ball Sunset
A couple more images from my first try shooting with a glass ball. The ball came with a glass stand that I used for the first couple of shots, and then ditched because it showed up in the images. These are those shots, using the clone tool in the first, and cropping in the second, to remove the stand. I think if I took two shots, one without the ball and then one with, I could use a layer mask to remove the stand. I think I'll try that next time.

Last year I have bought such a crystall ball too, made a few photos, and then I forgot about it somehow 🤔
Your photos are very nice and make me want to try it myself once again. Maybe, I'll see.
Thanks for showing these photos, and inspiring me @kunschj 😀

I'm glad I could inspire you! I'll keep an eye out for you crystal ball photos.
The inspiration is back thanks to you, but please do not wait for the photos, because I know me ;)
I need one of those glass balls right now! Where did you get it? I love those shots and I want to play with one too!
This one was about $13 on Amazon.
Your doing awesome with it what a greta idea to remove the stand I never thought of doing that very cool effect like its floating there
The next thing I want to try is to put it in shallow water and see what reflections look like.
Thats a super cool idea I look forward to seeing what you get ;)
