It Hasta Be Shasta!
Posted for #TuesdayOrange in the day-of-the-week rainbow #ColorChallenge photography challenge initiated by @kalemandra, is this retro-looking advertisement for Shasta Orange Soda that I spotted while pumping gas in San Francisco recently. Gas was around $4.00 then, I wonder what it is today.
Yesterday a new 6% gas tax went into effect in California to provide money to fix the roads. (I won't hold my breath about seeing any repairs). Driving home yesterday, I stopped at a red light with a gas station to my left and to my right. On my left, $3.75/gallon for regular (cash price, add 0.10 for credit), and on my right $4.25/gallon. What sucks is that I use premium gasoline...I can't wait till my next fill-up :-(

Gas is about $3.32 here in Alaska.
Thanks @shasta. I really loved the vintage look. Don't know if it's original or not. You're not too far behind us for gas. That's about what we paid last at Costco.
Amigo aqui lo barato es hasta ahora la gasolina pero tremendas colas,no se que esta pasando,y vea lo que es que un refresco es 200veces mas caro que la gasolina al igual que un litro de agua es incomprable y de gasolina muy barato,saludos amigo feliz tarde

Ouch and I thought Gas is expensive here but its about $1 cheaper than your prices
Prices are variable, cheapest at Costco and about $3.75 on average.
Costco often has the cheapest price here as well

I used to love orange soda. Orangina was my favorite. But the American stuff has bite, if you know what I mean.
I'm not familiar with Orangina. I think I drank Shasta as a kid. Every now and then, my wife will have a Fanta with her meal, usually with Mexican food because you can get the Fanta made with sugar rather than high fructose corn syrup. Same with Coke.
You know I think that may be why pop has less bite these days. We had fanta but crush was more prevalent.
Ahhh yes...Orange Crush! I forgot all about that. Good stuff!
