Old Glory ~ A MonoMad Post
I'm posting this street photography image for the daily #MonoMad photo contest created by @brumest and curated by @monochromes. I took this picture while walking around downtown Ventura, California, last weekend. The helmet caught my eye, so I made it the focus of the shot, or tried to...then the kid photobombed me!

Thank you Pix.
Ah, I love this! It really tells a story with the girl looking up, and the color isolated to the Captain America-esque helmet!
Thanks for checking it out and leaving such a nice comment.
I love these kinds of shots. The treatment of this one makes it even better.
resteemed
Thanks for that, the nice comment and the resteem.
You're welcome.
Hi @kunschj,
I hope you don't mind, but I just checked your profile on steem-engine and I think you are not aware of all the coins you have overthere...and doing nothing with it. See for yourself : https://steem-engine.com/?p=balances&a=kunschj
As you also use the creativecoin tag, you should stake the creative coins you got... that way your vote will be worth steem AND creativecoins...
Just my 2 cents, do what you want with it... if things are not clear just leave me a message and I help you...
Thank you my friend. I have been meaning to look into that. I appreciate the reminder.
Reminds me of Peter Fonda too.
A bit. I had the Easy Rider helmet when I was a kid.
I used to see a lot of them in the early 70's
I have to admit that I thought it was really cool when I got it but, as I got older, I kinda wanted a new helmet.
I had a all red metal flake one that my dad got me.
That must have looked cool! I was “Easy Rider” on a Honda 90cc. LOL
I was a bad kid and rarely even wore it. I'm sure glad i didn't crash on my head back then.
Selective coloring worked so well here, and how cute with the photobomb :)
Thanks. I would have preferred no photo bomb, but I didn’t want to be obvious taking the photo.
Of course i knew that but it did add a little charm tot he shot fI know thats not what you were aiming for but still a great shot
Thanks, Jay. I really appreciate that.
Most welcome my friend
Have a great day
Very cool photograph @kunschj! I love the look you captured!

Thanks @shasta. More "motorcycle" shots today ;-)
A great capture with the girl. Nice colorsplash.
Thank you kindly!
