Steemit is a Blockchain social media platform where users earn a cryptocurrency called STEEM or STEEM Dollar for publishing, curating content and performing some other actions on the platform.
The platform was launched in the year 2016, by the Steemit Inc. company. The platform has more than a thousand user's(as of when I was writing this article). Steemit is a free platform (Free registration) that is owned and operated by it's user's.
I know Steemit has been of great help to many people by curating their article, and making real money from it by selling the coin, it has also given many people/user's the opportunity to become an investor without spending any token to invest.

I can still remember vividly in the year 2020 in school, I was seriously financially broke then I walked up to one of my course mate who was very good at online businesses, I explained my financial problem to him. He first introduced me to Opera hub to become a news writer there but Opera hub was hell to me with so much stress, so I couldn't do it.
When he noticed I wasn't able to blog on Opera hub due to the stress he then introduced me to Steemit, but at first I thought Steemit was a scam, I was just questioning my self how possible it was to register free then blog and get paid, so I over looked it and refused to register till one day he showed me his transactions then I decided to give steemit my time and a try around May 2022 and it worked for me. Big thanks to him, I've made so much progress here and am gaining from the platform, all it cost me is consistency and my time.

Am so much happy that am a user to this platform, I have three things that I can strongly stand and say I learnt this from Steemit.
The html code: For you to apply some beautiful markdown on Steemit you need to know an understand little about html code, if you don't know any you can still learn little from Steemit.
Writing a nice article: I've always wished to own a blog site but because I lack the knowledge I couldn't, but Steemit taught me a lot on how to blog.
Steemit has also taught me much about cryptocurrency. It's no more a lay man stuff to me, am into it.
