JESUS CHRIST FOUND IN EGYPT 🇪🇬
Egypt a place of refuge chosen by God ~Matthew 2:13-15 Vs. 13-15.
We’re quick to label things good or evil and retain them that way all the time, but with God it’s not like that, now I can understand why He says that his ways are far higher that our ways and his thoughts also are well higher than ours just as the heaven is far from the earth. What am I saying in the essence? Egypt has been known for afflictions and slavery for the children of Israel yet it was a place chosen by God to host the infant Jesus as a refuge.
As far as Gods purpose is concerned, He can utilize the worst place, worst people, worst circumstances, and they will respect his supremacy and serve the best of purposes. God told Joseph and his wife to move to Egypt, to a place long known by Israelites for miseries and torment, when God instruct us to move towards such opposition or to such inconvenience it becomes a trial to our faith in God, Mary and Joseph’s faith was indeed tried but it was obvious that that family had their faith and trust firmly rooted in God.
This story has reminded me of many children suffering from wars, sickness, hunger all over our world today due to wickedness of mankind, due to incompetence of our world’s leadership and rulership, poor economy and corrupt government, but the lord sees and he will come and save us even when we don’t know him no trust in him.
He is a merciful God who always hoped for our repentance and acknowledgment of his presence in our processes and circumstances.
Matthew 2:13-15
And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him. When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt: And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.
