Tree Tuesday
#Treetuesday @old-guy-photos
My tree for today is this big old Live Oak near Charleston, SC that is all decked out in Spanish Moss.
Spanish Moss is not really moss, but rather a bromeliad. Although Spanish moss grows on trees, it is not a parasite. It doesn't put down roots in the tree it grows on, and it does not take nutrients from it.
So beautiful Melinda!! It really is breathtaking!! ❤
Thanks! I love those big old Live oaks so much!
