I'm just curious based on the picture, how much does one movie ticket cost in your place? I too wonder why there's so much empty chairs in that movie house. Maybe the profit figure was based on worldwide ticket sold?
Oh I see. Here ticket is cheaper and it depends on the mall, if it is in the city it is more costly but if it is in the province it is a little cheaper. On the average price I think is somewhere between 200-250 pesos on normal movie houses, that's an average of $4-$5 per ticket. Otherwise if the movie house offers 3D or lazychairs, tickets are priced higher than the average.
We may be going to see it this afternoon. Now I am curious how the seating will look, lol.

It's a prediction based on expected worldwide ticket sales based on the first weekend of tickets sold. Correct. Puroypoi

I suppose ticket prices would reflect local economics. It's all relative to earnings vs disposable income?

Hubby wants to wait until at least next week to go see it so the theater won't be so crowded. We are anxious to see this one though.
I'll probably wait until it hits Netflixx but it does look exciting. But let's just say I am looking forward to May 25th.
