This Is A Joke Right?

Unfortunately not, I wish this was just a joke but it's all too real.

This idiotic idea actually originated a few years ago when "academic scholars" also known as leftist professors, decided that J.R.R. Tolkien had a very radical view of the world, based on the fantasy world he created. Even though Tolkien had warned long ago that his work in Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, was in no way ever meant to be allegorical. Regardless of this these leftist scholars chose to infer that Tolkien was making some kind of comparison between his fantasy world and the current real world. They seem to have a massive problem with the idea that Orcs, trolls, Uruk-hai and Ringwraiths are inherently evil, and that this is somehow very racist. Even though all these different races of beings are actually evil in the fantasy world, their life goals are things like, killing any other living thing, eating the flesh of men and elves, and total annihilation.

The main reason why they consider this to be racist is because, come on take a guess... Yes, because the Elves, Rohirrim and Gondorians are all fair skinned, so basically white in their view. The writer at the Guardian newspaper said that Lord of the Rings is most definitely racist because all the evil humans are dark skinned, and the message is, "white men are good and dark men are bad". It a fantasy novel for fuck sake, the only people that think like this are actual racists. That's when the internet unleashed the best dank memes to make fun of this absolute moronic way of thinking, and the memes were just glorious.
