Turn The Lights Off

This takes me back to my childhood, and was probably the theme song of every teenager growing up.

This is still a great tune twenty years later which was from their third album Enema of the State, which was released in 1999. There was not a party or bar I went to that didn't at some point play that song, and as simple as it is, it just awesome to this very day. I would say it was this song along with Green Day's Basket Case that made punk rock mainstream in the late nineties, there is not anyone over the age of 30 that doesn't know each and every lyric of All The Small Things. I remember watching the MTV video music awards in 1999, back when MTV actually played music videos, crazy right? But I recall Blink playing this song at the awards show with like 50 tiny people running around on the stage, something almost impossible to do in today's outrage society.

"Blink-182 is an American rock band formed in Poway, California, in 1992. Since 2015, the lineup of the band has consisted of bassist and vocalist Mark Hoppus, drummer Travis Barker and founder, guitarist and vocalist Tom DeLonge. In its early years, Blink-182 toured heavily behind the band's debut, Cheshire Cat (1995). The group signed with major label MCA Records to co-distribute its second album, Dude Ranch (1997). Raynor was fired midway through a 1998 tour and replaced by Barker. The group's next two releases, Enema of the State (1999) and Take Off Your Pants and Jacket (2001), were enormous successes on the strength of radio and MTV airplay.
