Steemit Crypto Academy Contest / S7W6 - Careful, Has your Steemit account been hacked?steemCreated with Sketch.

Crime on the internet is increasingly widespread. Sometimes it happens not because there is the intention from the culprit. However, some opportunities and loopholes can be by the perpetrator. Account hacking occurs because there is a gap, so our job as Steemian is to close the hacking gap as best as possible..

Steemit is a blockchain-based social media that has the highest security. Having four keys with each function is a very perfect thing. Our task is to take very good care of it. And the best storage place is offline.

{ Have you had your Steemit account hacked? What do you think about dubious links offering rewards? Give us your opinion. }

I've passed my first two years in Steemit. Many things have been missed. I am grateful that my account has never been hacked. However, someone once used my name as their account name on Hive Blockchain. Please note that I only have a Steemit account. And I've classified it on this subject.

Prize offers that are scattered in the comments column sometimes make some Steemians fooled by them. I'm grateful. So far, I've never used my Steemit private active key for an account that I'm not sure about.

Even to minimize hacking Steemit accounts, I never allow my smartphone browser application to save Steemit passwords.

{ What are your recommendations to prevent your account from being stolen or hacked? Give us your opinion. }

Protecting our account from hacking is our job. And avoiding things that make it easy for hackers is our greatest obligation. To minimize hacking, I don't store my Steemit account online in any cloud.

I suggest the same. Here are some ways to prevent our account from being hacked.

  1. Never give your Steemit account password to anyone else.
  2. Never save passwords in your smartphone browser.
  3. Never store passwords online in the cloud.

Those are three things you need to remember to prevent account hacking.

{ Why do some accounts get hacked? What would you say to people whose
accounts are hacked? }

Some accounts get hacked sometimes not because of any intent from the hacker. But because of an opportunity for them. Therefore, our job is to take good care of our passwords and close as tightly as possible the gaps that can be infiltrated by them..

For those whose accounts have been hacked, don't be discouraged. Prove to the public what really happened. Then replace your Steemit password with a new one and save it as best you can in a safer place.

{ If you find out that your account has been hacked, what are the steps you should take immediately to prevent your
tokens from being stolen? }

Hopefully, hacking doesn't happen to our account. It is something that will ruin the dreams of all of us. And if that happens, we must immediately take a stand in a way change the new password. After that, I'll make a publication that it's a hack. And most likely, we will lose the trust of Team Steemit and Steemian friends.

Thus posting my participation in the Steemit Crypto Academy Contest / S7W6 - Careful, Has your Steemit account been hacked? I invite @liasteem, @franyeligonzalez, and @nahela to participate in this contest. Thanks to the Steemit team and Steemian friends who always support me. I appreciate it.

Terimakasih atas kunjungannya dan meninggalkan saran dan masukan. Semoga akun kita aman dari berbagai jenis peretasan.

Congratulations My Friend @nadiaturrina for your first post in the steemit Crypto-academy Challenge! You are off to a great start and I just want to say that I think you are amazing. I'm so excited to see what else you have in store!

I've read your post and must say it contains some very useful advice; especially when it comes to protecting our accounts from being hacked. We all need to take extra care of our passwords and make sure they are safe in an offline space. It's also important to remember to never give out our Steemit account password or save it in any browser.

It is clear that you are doing your best to keep your Steemit account safe, and so should we all. Here's to continued success on the Blockchain!

Regards, @fabiha

Thank you for your support and support. Hopefully our Steemit account is safe and protected from various forms of hacking.

Thank you for visiting and support. Hopefully our account is always safe from various types of hacking.

So far, I've never used my Steemit private active key for an account that I'm not sure about.

Not using our active key on any third party website is one way to keep your account secure. I really love this idea, third party website can become compromised or may be used as a means for Phishing.

Using outdated applications and browsers can become a problem. The designer must have seen a bug or vulnerability before declaring it out of date an needing an update.

I am glad to hear that. Thanks for reading my post and support. Our Account security in our hand.

I have a different issue. I powered up but it is not showing up in my wallet at all. My SP should reflect the updated one but it still shows no sign of my power up. Why is it like this?

Try refreshing and looking again. Then it will appear. Sometimes the internet connection is also influential. Thanks for reading my post.
🥰🥰🥰

Nope it's still the same up to now. No change at all. This means I will not be powering up anymore. It's not affecting my account anyway. :)

I think steemit is onenofnthe securestvaccounts in the internet..

It's not a question of security, it's about powering up not working.

So far, I've never used my Steemit private active key for an account that I'm not sure about.

He shared something very important. We should never share private keys anywhere. We should always try to complete our tasks with public keys. Because many times we go to different websites and log into accounts there with our private keys and then extract various information from there which is not necessary at all.

I am glad ro hear that. Thanks for reading my post and support.
