It is a community that is open for every Steemit member and we encourage all cultures and all sorts of topics just making some exceptions of any content which would provoke any kind of diversity differences or any type of vulgar content.
Why should one join this community?
This is a question that many people would have in a mind. Is it just another one more community or does it bring anything different to the table...
- In our community we first of all welcome people from across the world and it's just not limited to Indians
- We have 2 contest on a monthly basis
- We have a whatsapp group where newbies can join to learn more about Steemit
- In a blog we look at - plagiarism free, power down status, club status, CSI, and word count(300plus) and also the quality of the content. We encourage good quality content. One may also read the Rules of the @meraindia Community here
- We have a Discord channel where everyone is encouraged to join and share their ideas and interact to further enhance the community.
- There is a good level of engagement in our community which is helpful specially for the newbies joining Steemit.
- We would also like to extend delegation on a monthly basis to some chosen new members of the community who have low or no steem balance to encourage them to continue on the blockchain.
The founder and Admin of this Community- @meraindia is @sduttaskitchen who is a committed Steemit member and has been in this place for 2.5 years. She has high aspirations to grow the community and make it one of the largest community of Steemit, but for that we need a lot of support also.
