This high rate at which information is changed and revised within the scientific industry makes it very lucrative for its publishers.

The scientific industry is one of biggest publishing industry in the world since science is changing at almost any time of the day and this requires researchers to stay up on their toes and revise their publications based on the new information that are being brought on board. Scientist in general are very discipline when it comes to their work and publications within the scientific publications because most scientist want to be honoured for their work done.

Most scientist do their best to come out with great information which they would want to publish but sometimes the struggle that the current scientific publication system provides make it quite rigid for some scientist to come out with their work. When this happens, society is deprived of the new information that might have been contained in that publication.

The challenges below have slowed down the progress of the scientific industry for quite sometime but I guess it is time to let people know about the unfair and unflexible systems within the scientific industry so that people can embrace the change that Orvium offers the Scientific Publication.

Loss of rights by Authors

Research work done by authors need to be licensed under corporate institutions but is so heart breaking that sometimes some of these institutions take ownership of the content of scientific authors and claim ownership of the work by holding copyrights of the research work instead of the scientific author who actually made the content. This unfair situation does not allow the community to award some authors for their creativity and innovation within the scientific industry.

To add more insults to injury, because authors lose the license rights of their work it takes a very long time for their work to be published as the Publication industry now determines when the research journal is going to be published.

Expensive Publication Expenses

The world is currently under a whole lot of economical hardship and this situation is being experienced by most people. In addition to this, scientific research work requires huge amount of money which is funded by most government of countries. One would be shocked how much is spent by most government of nations in the scientific research and the government has to bear this cost together with other impressing financial needs of that country.
