Weekly Country Representative/ Greeter's Report (For The Week Ending 5th October, 2022)

Dear team,

I am back after a week now to give a feedback of my activities as a country representative for Nigeria. It is my pleasure to always be active each week that passes by.

Here in my report, I am going to tell what I did with regard to

• Responding to users' questions and guiding them on their steemit Journey

• How I carried out my duties as admin in my communities

• How I did my greeter's duties and curation with SC09 in newcommers community achievement program

• My experience as one of the community curators in team 01

• Details of my activities with my personal account and that of steemkidss

• Plans For the new week/Conclusion

Responding to users' questions and guiding them on their steemit Journey

I am always happy and ready to respond to questions from users concerning the challenges they are facing here in steemit.

One of those that I guided was my recruit. I reported in my last report of the newbie I recruited and I guided him on how to go about his introduction post. He was able to post it here after further guidance from me. Here is the introduction post link.

I am currently guiding him to complete his achievement 2. I have given him all the necessary guides. I am waiting for him to post it.

I also assisted @noraandy to buy steem, powerup and come back to steemit. She had been inactive for sometimes now. I am happy that she is back and back for good. She bought 12.5 steem to join the club.

She was also confused about engagement challenge and burnsteem25 and asked for explanations on them. I then called her via telegram voice call and explain to her in a way that she understood it very well.

I also attended to few others.

How I carried out my duties as admin in my communities

As admin of steemkids community and Steem4Nigeria community, I carried out my duties in terms of choosing quality posts when it is my turn and also placing them at the google sheet for booming supports.

This involves making sure that the articles to be selected are if quality, are in club and are not plagiarized in any way. I am glad to do this.

Af for steemkids community, I remind the mods on their days to assist in selecting publications for booming support. When they are done, I proceed to place them in the sheet.

I hosted contests for steemkids community here. I announced the winners for the previous week and made updates on other projects in the community using the community account.

• I also used the official account of steemkids community to upvote members and users in other communities if the manner has not been exhausted.

I reviewed publications in steemkids community and made meaningful comments too.

How I did my greeter's duties and curation with SC09 in newcommers community achievement program

As a greeter in newcommers community achievement program, I took my time to review and approve achievement posts.

My basic responsibility is to review introduction posts of the newbies from my country and newbies from countries without greeter.

Reviewing this achievement posts entails that I check for plagiarism, I check for farming accounts, I check for users who are genuine and are willing to follow the club initiative.

I give the appropriate labels if they met with the rules and write according to the required tasks in each achievement posts they are attempting.

I also upvote if they deserve it. This means that users who are one year and above those not get support as a newbie again because they are past it.

The new curation account for newcomers is now steemcurator09. I was able to use it this week to curate achievement posts.

I also give corrections where needed and wait for the user to act accordingly, then I will verify.

My experience as one of the community curators in team 01

Congratulations to me, to my teammates @fjjrg @jyoti-thelight @sofian88 and to the rest of the teams and their teammates. It was a surprise to me to me selected. I am grateful to the steemit team for this honor. I will do my best.

To begin, I announced the guidelines made my all the teams in one post I tittled aim your Blows Where It Counts wherein I also encouraged the users on how to apply markdown styles with few demonstrations how how to apply justify alignment and centered headings.

Guess what, I already took my first turn to curate publications. I was able to curate 20 publications and 3 comments and the rate is as announced in our guidelines. This is entirely new to me unlike what I was used to in my previous curation as a community curator where we followed certain hashtags. Now, I have to search around and curate any tag, whether the post is made in community or in personal blogs. The experience is worth it. I enjoyed it anyways. We are only 4 in my team and it means that in some weeks, I will take more than 2 turns. It is a whorthwhile experience. I am set for another turn.

Details of my activities with my personal account and that of steemkidss

I must congratulate myself in advance because I will soon become an orca. It is not far again from now. It might even be before my next report. I can't wait.

My current steempower is 49,813.38, I need less than 200 steem to hit it. Well, I am grateful to get this far and it is all due to the support I received from the chief curators of which I am very grateful to them.

I gave myself a target to hit that orca before this year ends. It seems I will hit it sooner. The roadmap is to set all my publications to 100% powerup and this is what I have been doing. I will keep doing that until I hit that target.

I have been actively making publications. I have 4 active publications. I will blame this number on poor internet connection. It is hitting me bad. I had to subscribe to two different networks to be able to remain active. I switch to anyone that has good network though in most cases, both of them will have bad network. But I am managing to pull through.

I also used my steempower to support users especially from Nigeria.

Plans For the new week/Conclusion

• To keep powering up my posts to 100%

• To keep supporting users with my personal account and that of steemkids community

• To remain active

• To support my fellow admins in Steem4Nigeria community in all projects especially that of announcing the city coordinators which will soon be out. Whoever that is selected from my city of residence will receive my support to promote steem in my city of residence again.

• To keep guiding users in whichever way possible.

• If any of my communities or both are selected for steemit engagement challenge, I will try my best to make it exciting with contest ideas and review of Publications.

I am glad to have made this report and to have been active as a country representative. I will keep doing that to the best of my abilities. Thanks a lot once more to you the steemit team for the previllage. Be rest assured that I cherish you all.
