The gentle hands that nurtured a tender me
The truest companion with a loyalty so divine
The God I first knew
My mother! My first companion!
The only one who understood my infant cries.
The only one whose patience is enduring and real
The only one whose comfort is suiting and free
The only one whose teachings are worth more than gold
My mother! My first teacher!
My guardian angel in my infant days
My best provider in my times of need
My greatest strength in my times of despair
My one true love that never forsakes me
My mother! My first guardian!
My truest friend in the journey of life
My best adviser with her wisdom so great
My best defender in my days of trouble
My magic wand
My mother! My everything!
