My review on Sweden.

in #travel6 years ago (edited)

Some years ago I moved from Norway to my neighbours in Sweden, and for my readers - you would probably think it is more or less the same, but there are very big difference on this 2 countries.

First of all the Swedes are a kind of interesting people, when they meet you they speak so sweet with their fancy language - however, as it is with the Yanks, you somehow feel that this is just a fake act and it certainly is. I trained a football team there for a couple of years and you come and do your service, but when it is over you go home and are never invited to anything.

The Swedes like to hang around with themselves, for ages they have looked at Norway as their smaller brother, and this is definitely mirroring their behaviour towards other people. Since they only participated in the second world war selling goods to the Germans, and of course saying they were neutral - has made them shameful. Therefore they have acted like the Merciful Samaritan in recent years being the country who has taken most refugees from third world countries in Europe.

This have led the country in to a even deeper crise, which also have created several of ghettos and no go zones. It is kind of amazing how interested they are in being political correct, even flagging on the independence day is almost looked at as a sign of nationalism or racsim.

The food in Sweden is quite similar to the Norwegian, and I have to admit that the Swedish milk is the best in the world next to the Norwegian one. Moving out of the Nordic countries has stopped me drinking it, and where I live now I only drink water and Juice. The nature in south is beautiful, however, if you live in the north it is kind of boring with a lot of forest. They have one of the most spectacular train journeys in the world taking you all the way up to Narvik (in Norway) - but it doesn`t get extrem until the last 45 minutes of it as you enter Norway.

They have a beautiful language, since it is more influenced by French - as their Royal family is called Bernadotte, but I look at their King as a major twat. If I was to mention a nice area I would prefer living around Vänern, which is the second biggest lake in Europe. It is a very beautiful area with several of Canals and the most famous one, called Göta Canal, are taking you from Gothenburg all the way to Stockholm.

Conclusion:

Sweden is a country with good food, and nice nature - especially in the south. Even that the Swedes might sound and act nice to you it seems to me that there is a hidden agenda behind it. Their authorities is much more strict than the Norwegian one (a country mainly filled with farmers and fishermen), and in my point of view they treat their people as slaves. It is a country you can live in, but I do not know how it is now with all the no go zones - and there are weekly reports about shootings, rapes and violence.

The mass immigration has been an extreme challenge for many European countries it is extremely sad to hear the news continually coming from them about how they tried to help all these people and most of them just behave like savages.

I agree with you, the price you pay to give people a helping finger is that they will try to grab the whole hand :o)

Would love to visit; Thanks for the information.
