Yesterday, while looking for completely different things, I came across an interesting article. I thought I'd share it in this short post as it might be of interest to some, particularly @remlaps.
The potential of the STEEM blockchain for business has been frequently discussed on our platform. However, the business did not seem to see any opportunities here. And so, on January 4, 2023, Tenba Group published the article What is Steemit & How it Benefits Your Business. By the way, the article is perfectly indexed and was published in the first place. This is not surprising, because Tenba Group positions itself as:

As Medium is blocked in China, Steemit is rather useful to share articles with your Chinese business associates. Although there is no Chinese version of Steemit, the Chinese community on this platform is very large.
Beware that although the Steem blockchain is resistant to Chinese censorship, the government entities continuously attempt to block individual sites that display the Steemit content. Therefore, you can expect a game of whack-a-mole now.

I don't know what to make of that - the list of sites that the Tenba Group offers to promote appears quite small so the inclusion of Steemit alongside the likes of Weibo and TikTok feels slightly strange. It's obviously great news and hopefully we'll see some businesses appear on the back of this article and their promotion but something doesn't quite add up here...
I agree that the selection of sites looks strange. I think Steemit only got here because the Chinese censorship doesn't pay enough attention to it yet, unlike other social networks.
We've got to hope that slowly, we'll see some investment from there. It might help that Tron's HQ is in Beijing too.
