The Word “Son” in the very 1st word of the Bible (Hebrew / Aramaic)

in #bible5 years ago (edited)

This is a very interesting video I stumbled upon on YouTube....

In Aramaic the word for son is “Bar”.... spelled with the Aramaic/Hebrew letters Bet and Resh...

These are the 1st two letters of the Torah (First 5 Books of the Bible) when spelling the Hebrew Word Bereshith.... which means “In Beginning”..... and is translated as “In the Beginning” of our Modern day Book of Genesis.... In the Beginning God Created the Heavens and the Earth”...

This guy goes on to break down the Hebrew Word “Bereshith” letter by letter where each Hebrew Letter has an ancient symbollic Meaning ....

Ie: Bet is the second letter of the Hebrew Aleph-Bet (Alphabet) and it’s symbol is house/Tent

I know that when I was studying Hebrew and Aramaic so that I could read the Mystical Zohar, Bahir and Sefer Yetzirah I was quite astonished that the 1st 2 letters of the Bible spell the word “Son” in Aramaic. The language spoken by Jesus to his followers .... and also the language used by Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai of Galilee to write the Zohar- Book of Radiance. (2nd Century)

It is quite interesting....

Interesting. It must have been difficult to learn Hebrew and Aramaic.

Still learning.... one letter, one word at a time.

Very Interesting.
