Frederic Remington’s “Bronco Buster”

Small Bronze, Green Marble Base, 1970s or 80s vintage.

Length 3.5” • Height 4.5” • Weight 1 lb. 2 oz.

Looks like this guy lost his ice cream cone... and spilled it all on his lap! Looks like a fool... maybe he needs a funky object to be holding. I think that he had been holding a flail of some kind originally.

Unfortunately he’s suffered some oxidation on the areas of his lap, hips and saddle... That’s all that powdery greenish stuff that you see in the photos.

He could use a good sandblasting, some TLC and something to hold in his right hand!
