Californians voted to legalize cannabis and now their seeking to get psilocybin legalized. A campaign backed by the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) MDMA assisted psychotherapy became an FDA approved treatment for PTSD. MAPS has also funded a few studies to showcase the potential of psilocybin to treat obsessive compulsive disorder, nicotine addiction, alcohol addiction, anxiety and depression.

Psilocybin is considered a Schedule 1 drug in the US but the state of California has cleared the first hurdle to decriminalization. They has initiated a petition to get the matter of legalization put on a ballot allowing the voters to weigh in.

Thank you for visiting.

On the “dark net” you could buy large amounts of high quality mushrooms 🍄. If you ever meet a back woods hick that knows a lot about crypto , he was probably selling mushrooms on Silk Road! Ha ha ha

I like that imagery. A backwoods hick with a vast knowledge of cryptocurrencies. I'm sure there are a lot of them. The first rule about the "dark net" is you don't talk about the dark net. The second rule is... haha.

It's too dark to see. lol

That's why CA is trying to get it legalized, so we won't access the dark net. lol

Sorry, I didn't understand your comment. Thanks for stopping by.

It seems utterly ridiculous that something that grows in nature, without any human intervention, should be considered illegal no matter what your views on taking mind altering substances.

I'm not into drugs personally, but there is a sound argument for legalising them. I've seen cannabis users waste their lives though through misuse which puts me off, but the same is true of alcohol.

Yeah, or video games, or television, or anything that people can overuse, really. Cheeseburgers... The list goes on. I think people should be able to do whatever they want to do so long as they're not harming anyone else.

I agree that anything natural should be fair game, I'm okay with people using cannabis just like smoking tobacco. I guess where I draw some lines is where the substance is addictive and companies enhance the product to make it more addictive all for the sake of turn a buck. But on the other side of the coin, if someone who imbibes falls ill due to their use of the substance, it's on them not the gov't to find medical help.

Cannabis is way less dangerous than tobacco. I'd be fine with people who smoke tobacco just switching to cannabis instead. :)

I agree. If you plant a seed and it grows in the ground, who the hell does anyone think they are when they tell you that you can't? The earth belongs to everyone.
