If You Feel Cheated, Pray.

인생이 억울해서 견딜 수 없는 사람들이 적지 않을 겁니다.
I know there are a lot of people who feel cheated with their lives these days.

금수저, 흙수저라는 말이나 헬조선이란 단어를 생산하고 유통하는 우리네 젊은이들은 경제가 떠내려가는 세대에 태어난 억울함을 감추지 못했습니다.
New words like Gold Spoon/ Dirt Spoon started to emerge, as well as Hell-Joseon (Joseon is a dynastic kingdom of Korea that lasted for approximately five centuries.); these words describe how unfair it is to live in such time period where the economy is down, along with job security.

그렇다면 부모세대인 우리는 마냥 즐거워합니까?
But were we, the parents' generation, happy always?

제가 태어난 시대는 베이비붐시대였습니다.
I am a baby-boomer.

초등학교는 학생이 한반에 60명이 넘었고 그것도 오전반 오후반으로 갈렸었죠.
There were 60 or more students per class in elementary schools; and there were morning and night classes.

그러니 교육의 질을 따질 수나 있었겠습니까?
So there is no way you could have had great, quality education.

제 형제는 3남1녀로 조촐(?)하였지만, 이웃에는 7,8명의 아이들이 우글거리는 가정이 널려있었습니다.
I was blessed(?) with just 4 siblings, including myself, but there were plenty of families with 7 to 8 children.

그러니 먹을 것이나 입는 것이, 이 시대에 태어난 젊은이들보다 더 나았을까요?
With the era I've described, could you say I was better off than the young generation living today?

그러나 이시대의 젊은이들은 만족한 직장을, 마치 어른세대가 죄다 빼앗아버린 것처럼 억울해하고 있습니다.
Whether it is true or not, the young generation of today feel cheated, as if the older generation took all the good jobs and comfort in the world, leaving them with nothing.

그러나 저는 그들에게 돌직구를 던지고 싶은 생각은 없습니다. 그들의 말도 틀리지 않기 때문이지요.
But I don't comment bluntly, telling them how lucky they are and how thankful they should be; because they are not all wrong.

그러나 겨우 백년 전의 구한말시대만 하더라도, 식구들이 굶지 않게 하는 게 우리네 가장의 꿈이었다는 것을 기억하시기 바랍니다.
I hope everyone remembers what it was like about a hundred years ago; the best thing people hoped for their family was to not to starve each day.

그러나 그 때는 그 때고, 지금은 지금이라고 하는 분들도 적지 않을 겁니다.
Of course, things are different now, say many of you.

최근 울 영성학교에 북한에서 온 자매가 있습니다. 90년대에 고난의 행군시절에, 그들이 어떻게 살았는지 말해주었어요.
There is a new member that joined CSA recently. She came from North Korea, and she told me how it was back in the 90s, when North Korea was diseased with famine.

한 끼에 한 숟가락의 밀가루를 물에 타서 끓여먹었다고 합니다.
She said she put a spoon of flour into water, boiled it, and drank it for a meal.

굶어죽는 사람은 부지기수였으며, 중국에 인신매매를 자청해서 팔려나갔다고 해요.
There were plenty of people who starved to death; people volunteered to go into China through human trafficking.

굶어죽는 것보다 인신매매를 당하더라도 중국에서 먹을 수 있는 걸 택했다고 합니다.
They thought it was better to be sold as a property than to starve to death.

그러나 탈북 하는 것은 목숨을 거는 것이라는 것을 여러분도 잘 알고 계실 겁니다.
And I'm pretty sure many people know it is not easy to leave North Korea; you have to risk your life.

그래서 굶어죽으나 총살당해 죽으나 죽는 것은 매 한가지라는 생각으로 두만강을 건넜다고 합니다.
So she decided to cross the river, thinking she will die anyway, whether due to starvation or execution.

이러한 실상이 백여년 전의 구한말시대가 아니라, 우리와 동시대를 살고 있는 북한동포의 얘기입니다.
And this is not a story of people back in early 1900s; it is the story of people living in this present day, just like you and me.

그렇다고 제가 취직을 못한 젊은이들이나 해고자들이 억울해하는 것을 그만두라고 말하는 게 아닙니다.
I am not saying young generation should not complain or address the issue of their lives.

우리가 사는 세상은 평등하고 행복한 곳이 아니라는 것을 말해주고 싶어서입니다.
I just would like you to know that this world is not an easy or happy place to live and spend time.

우리의 씨름은 혈과 육을 상대하는 것이 아니요 통치자들과 권세들과 이 어둠의 세상 주관자들과 하늘에 있는 악의 영들을 상대함이라(엡6:12)
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. (Ephesians 6: 12)

이제 이 세상에 대한 심판이 이르렀으니 이 세상의 임금이 쫓겨나리라(요12:31)
Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out. (John 12: 31)

그 때에 너희는 그 가운데서 행하여 이 세상 풍조를 따르고 공중의 권세 잡은 자를 따랐으니 곧 지금 불순종의 아들들 가운데서 역사하는 영이라(엡2:2)
in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. (Ephesians 2: 2)

성경은 이 세상을 다스리는 존재가 하나님이 아니라 세상의 왕이 따로 있다고 말하고 있습니다.
The Bible states that the ruler of this world is not God; there is another one.

그 세상의 왕이 바로 공중(세상)의 권세를 잡고 있는 통치자이고, 권세가 있으며, 세상을 주관하고 있는 악의 영이라고 밝히고 있습니다.
And that is the ruler of the kingdom of the air, who has the authority, the one that governs this world, the Satan.

즉 악한 영이 세상의 권세를 가지고 세상 사람들은 지배하고 통치하고 있다고 말하고 있지요.
Satan, the evil spirit, is the one that controls this world with the authority.

악한 영의 목적이 무엇입니까?
What is the goal of Satan?

바로 죄의 덫을 놓고 죄에 걸려들게 만들어서 불행에 빠뜨려서 고통을 주어 생명과 영혼을 사냥하는 겁니다.
It is to set traps of sins, make people stumble, put them into misery, and hunt their lives and souls.

그러므로 여러분이 사는 세상이 모두에게 평등하고 행복하며 정의가 살아있다고 생각하는 것은 자유이지만, 성경은 그렇게 말하지 않는다는 것을 잊지 마세요.
So you are free to think this world is fair and equal to everyone, full of justice and karma; but the Bible doesn't say that. So please remember.

물론 여러분이 어떻게 생각하든 여러분의 자유이죠.
You are free to think however you want to think.

그러나 성경이 진리이신 하나님의 말씀이라고 믿고 있는 크리스천이라면 성경에서 말하는 대로 믿어야 할 것이 아니겠어요?
But if you believe God and the Bible, shouldn't you believe in whatever it says in the Bible?

그렇다면 귀신들은 누구를 지배하고 통치합니까?
So, then, who do demons control and govern?

바로 죄인입니다.
The sinners.

그러므로 여러분이 죄인이라면 귀신의 포로로 잡혀 있는 셈입니다.
So if you are a sinner, you are being a captive of demons.

성경은 죄를 짓는 자마다 죄의 종이라고 선포하고 있기 때문지요.
The Bible says whoever sins is a servant of demons.

그렇지만 자신은 예수 그리스도의 보혈의 공로로 말미암아 죄가 용서함을 받은 하나님의 백성이 되었으니까, 자신과는 아무런 상관이 없을 것이라고 철썩 같이 믿고 있을 겁니다.
But I also know many people will firmly believe they have nothing to do with demons, since they became new with Jesus' blood.

물론 여러분이 생각하는 것은 자유입니다. 그러나 여러분의 삶과 영혼을 날카롭게 살펴보시기 바랍니다.
Again, you are free to think you want to think. But please make sure you take a sharp look at your own life and soul.

건조하고 냉랭한 영혼으로 고단하고 팍팍하게 살고 있는 것이 하나님의 백성의 모습일까요?
Is living empty, tired lives, an ideal description of the way God's children live?

성경에 하나님의 백성이 세상 사람과 진배없이, 무능하고 무기력한 모습으로 고생의 떡을 먹으며 고통의 눈물을 마시면서 살아간다고 얘기하고 있습니까?
Does Bible say you still live unhappily, without peace or joy, no matter how good of a faith you have?

성령께서는 제게 먹이사슬과 노예제도에 대해 말씀하셨어요.
The Holy Spirit told me the food chain and the ranks of demons.

악한 영들은 타락한 천사입니다.
Demons are fallen angels.

그들이 타락하여 하나님으로부터 쫓겨났지만, 여전히 천사와 동급의 영적 능력을 가지고 있습니다.
They were kicked out of Heaven, for they have fallen, but they still have the equivalent ability as the angels.

그들은 사람들의 머리를 타고 앉아 뇌를 장악하고 자신의 생각을 넣어주어 조종하고 있습니다.
They put thoughts into people's minds and control their brains.

또한 말과 행동을 통제하고 조종하는 것에 능수능란하지요.
And they are good at governing people's speech and action.

그들의 공격유형은 수도 없이 많지만, 정신질환과 고질병을 일으켜서 고통을 주고, 가족을 비롯한 관계를 맺는 사람들에게 미움과 증오를 넣어주어 분노를 폭발시키고 싸우게 하여 분열시키고, 갖가지 불행한 사건사고를 일으켜서 고통을 줍니다.
They have countless ways to attack people, but the most common thing to do is to fill people up with hatred and anger, creating conflict in between people, destroying families and minds of people.

극심한 가난의 수렁에 빠지고 악성부채를 지게 하거나, 각종 범죄에 빠지게 하고, 분별력이 없는 자녀가 부모에게 불순종하거나 불행한 사건에 휘말리게 하기도 하죠.
They also bring extreme poverty and get into serious debt and crimes; sometimes, children rebel against their parents or involve them into unfortunate events.

특히 돈을 우상으로 섬기게 하여 평생 돈의 노예가 되어 살아가게 하는 수법이 탁월합니다.
And they are great at using money, making people serve it as their idol; they become slaves of money and work all their lives for it.

말하자면 걱정과 염려, 두려움과 불안, 낙망과 좌절 속에 살아가는 이들은 죄다 악한 영의 노예로 살아가는 모습입니다.
And you could be certain that people who live in fear, worries, despair, and concerns are all living as servants of Satan.

왜냐면 이러한 생각은 죄다 하나님을 믿지 않는 죄이기 때문입니다.
It is because all these negative thoughts are the result of not having faith in God.

그러나 여러분이 미래에 대한 불안이나, 시시때때로 머리에 들어오는 걱정과 염려를 죄라고 생각하고 있기나 합니까?
But are you even aware that the worries about your future--or even short concerns that come to you time to time--are sins?

“인간이라면 누구나 그렇지 않아?”, “인생이 다 그렇지 뭐.”, “어떻게 그렇게 살아갈 수 있어?” 라면서 항변하고 싶을 겁니다.
You might say, "Isn't that human nature?" "That's life," or "How can you live worry-free ALL THE TIME?"

그러나 성경은 여러분의 모든 인생을 하나님께 맡기라고 명령하고 있습니다.
But the Bible clearly states that we should leave everything to God.

그러나 여러분은 교회마당을 밟고 있으면서 각종 예배의식에 참석하고 희생적인 신앙행위를 하고 있으면서도, 여전히 삶의 현장에서 죄를 밥 먹듯이 짓고 있지요.
But many people sin every moment of their lives, albeit their perfect attendance in church services.

그러면서 하나님을 믿지 못하는 것을 변명하고 자기합리화를 하면서 자신의 죄를 정당화하고 있어요.
....and they justify their faithlessness and sins.

그러므로 하늘에 계신 너희 아버지의 온전하심과 같이 너희도 온전하라(마5:48)
Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect. (Matthew 5: 48)

모든 사람과 더불어 화평함과 거룩함을 따르라 이것이 없이는 아무도 주를 보지 못하리라(히12:14)
Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. (Hebrews 12: 14)

오직 너희 죄악이 너희와 너희 하나님 사이를 갈라놓았고 너희 죄가 그의 얼굴을 가리어서 너희에게서 듣지 않으시게 함이니라(사59:2)
But your iniquities have separated
you from your God;
your sins have hidden his face from you,
so that he will not hear. (Isaiah 59: 2)

하나님은 여러분이 온전하게 사는 것을 명령하고 있습니다.
God commands you to be perfect.

그러므로 예수 그리스도의 피로 죄를 씻음 받아 거룩하여지며, 말과 행동이 하나님 앞에 온전함을 보이지 않는다면 여전히 여러분은 죄를 밥 먹듯이 짓고 있는 죄인인 셈입니다.
So if you are not perfect in front of God or holy by the blood of Jesus, you still are a servant of Satan.

그러므로 날마다 자신의 죄를 회개하며 자복하지 않는데 어떻게 죄에서 자유로울 수 있겠습니까?
How can you be free from sin, if you don't repent everyday?

여러분의 죄가 하나님 사이를 갈라놓아서, 하나님이 여러분의 얼굴을 가려서 호소하는 소리를 듣지 않기 때문입니다.
You live in misery because the sin has separated you from God; God turned away and does not listen to your prayers.

그래서 사는 게 힘들고 고통스럽다고 억울해하지만, 회개할 생각도 없고 하나님을 찾을 생각도 없는 여러분이 어떻게 천국에 들어가겠습니까?
So how can you enter Heaven, if you are not even thinking to repent or seek God, while you say life has been unfair to you?

이 땅에서 지옥처럼 살다가 영원한 지옥 불에 던져질 겁니다.
You will fall into fiery Hell after you are done with life on Earth.

여러분이 교회에 다니고 있지만, 여전히 귀신의 노예로 사로잡혀있기 때문입니다.
It is because you are still a servant of demons, even though you attend church.
