Untitled4.blg

I guess it is officially Saturday now. A few might read this on a Friday, you party animals you.

Mmm, I have been intending to post something every second day just to stay in the habit. There really is nothing I care to share but as always there is a lot I kinda just mull about. The only thing I will say Steem related in this post, is that it sure is nice to once in a blue moon put something down.

What am I listening to while typing?

Because your interface might suck and can't embed youtube

Winter

This typing as I think thing is a bit slower now since I am wearing gloves. Guess that does allow me to now think before I type and all in all this Untitled might be a lot more intelligible.

It has been a pretty good week, since someone that has been out of my life for almost a year has finally decided to agree with me and move out. I have slowly been getting back into doing a few more focused things and will continue to narrow my focus day by day.

Seems odd how that is better, seeing as I have always just done what I wanted when I want. Just trust me it is better. I seemingly have less weight.

Oh, deary I just realised this might not even be untitled worthy. Life sure is a tedious affair when things are going ok. There is always work that sucks and is absolutely the bane of my existence. You know with the one thing gone it might give me hope that I can get rid of all other things.

Ideally, live inside a mountain with pretty great internet. Gotta be inside because the weather, in general, is also just a pain in my ass.

I will be sure to note that on my special instructions when ordering Fibre.

Closing time.

I would describe the past year of my life with that. It has been closing time and is closing time. Not closed yet, still some drunk twats hanging around. Lights are on, I am ready to go, except...

When someone finishes by saying, "Simple."

Then you goddamn know it is not that simple. Most cases they forgot how it was when they did not know the thing in question. Skipping over the "silly" bits when explaining and instead they note the nuances they struggle with at their level.

I find it difficult to explain things to others although I am always explaining something. I find it difficult not because I don't like it or struggle with it. They struggle to understand. That is the difficult part.

One more shot

Then it is time to go.

I have always been extremely lucky. Never without a job for long and the one time I did not find work within a month was also due to taking time to do a little bit myself. I started as a waiter at 17ish did that and drinking way too hard until I was 24 then got a day job selling stuff in a clothing store but left one lunch time and got another job doing finishing at a printer. Learnt how they make the pretty pictures on the pc and got bored with that. Left that job by promising to learn web for the next.

Moved to the coast used that which I learnt for web to get a job there and after a few months got to work with my boss them having closed the shop over the weekend. Started waitering the next day and moved back "home".

Went back to the old printer this time as a designer and then got poached by the current company I work at. Not without once in between the above and 4 years ago having worked again as a designer and more actively learning development at a friends company which went bust.

Almost 10 years now since my day job. I have learnt a bit here and there, I have gotten many chances. All because I was lucky.

During all the luck working, I had to have luck finding places to stay.

They were never mine, nothing has ever been mine. Now I have a pc, a desk and a bed. They are officially mine and maybe I might do something in the apartment I live since I am officially alone.

Living proof that alone does not mean lonely.

Sort:

I've had pretty good luck too. Like Joe Walsh sings, I can't complain but sometimes I still do!

Haha I like that. I am going to steal that :)
