GGG vs Canelo Alvarez (Post Fight Analysis)

Another great battle occurred Saturday night in Las Vegas, Nevada. With the Pride of Mexico and the Pride of Kazakhstan going head to head for a rematch of a fight almost to the very day a year before.

The Early Rounds belonged very much to Alvarez, he showed why he is such a great opponent for GGG and his power shots proved to be very special tonight. His chin is unmatched; no other fighter can hang in like him against GGG and it would show why he deserved the win tonight.

As the fight wore on GGG began to find his grove. Much of the early parts of the fight he looked like an old fighter, he's 36 years old now. But as the fight got into the later rounds he showed why he was undefeated until the decision tonight.

This fight could have gone either way, much like last years epic first showing. However, tonight belonged to Alvarez and now, the new Middle Weight Champion of The World. Congrats to Canelo Alvarez, a very worthy Middle Weight Champ who said that he could definitely see part 3 in the future of this epic series between the two great fighters.
