Amy Poehler is an American actress, film producer, screenwriter, dubbing artist and comedienne.
Poehler studied at Boston College, where she joined the comedy group My Mother's Flea Bag.
In 1993 she moved to Chicago, where she performed together with the group The Second City.
She made her debut in a speaking role in the television comedy Escape from It's a Wonderful Life, for which she also co-wrote the script.
