Free Story || Half Sisters Meeting Again || Creating Short Story Week #30 by @predomina

Fellow steemians, I welcome you to this wonderful contest of creating short story week number 30 which is organised by @adeljose in this wonderful community called the world of xpilar community. Today my story is going to be about two sisters. This is a true-life story so I urge you to read it till the end.

The story is about two sisters Mary and Martha, and their mother gave birth to them to two different men. They were growing together in good health initially when they came to a period when the community in which they are staying has to undergo some form of crisis. The two sisters were separated from each other during that period of communal crisis. It was indeed an unfortunate incident because the mother was able to escape with Mary but in the case of Martha she was not close by and that separated the two of them.

The mother did everything possible to search for her daughter but all efforts proved abortive. Martha was picked by a widow during the incident because she joined others to run to a nearby village, when a widow spotted her she took care of her and then took her to a different state entirely, she always told her that one day she will meet her family again. The woman who has no child of her own trained Martha through the university and during this process Martha lost almost every memory of her family that remained with her.

They came out both from the universities without seeing each other and as God will have it, during their National Service program (NYSC) both were posted to the same state and they couldn't meet each other in the camp due to the much population of persons, it didn't stop there because they were finally posted to same local government area where they both joined the NACC I.e National Association of Catholic Corps Members.

They met during one of their general meetings in the church and behold they embraced each other and they now gathered us and began telling us the exact story of the incident that happened about 8 years ago. According to Martha, she couldn't remember anything but the moment she set her eyes on her sister once again a message was passed to her.

They all embrace each other and then called their mother and told her exactly what has happened. The two half-sisters met once again. Today Mary and Martha as well as their mother all live together and the woman who sponsored Martha also has been given special treatment to always feel free to call and ask to see her at any point in time since he has the legal right towards the lady in question.
